I like the basic composition of the shot , your exposure appears to have been spot on and is not blown out. My only complaint in this particular portrait is the use of landscape framing is somewhat distracting in my opinion. The shot could have been framed and shot portrait and you would not have lost anything in your theme or your attempt to tell the story behind the image. Overall I like the image a great deal and it has the makings of a wonderful candid portrait. I think portrait could be cropped square in this instance leaving the sun and the fisherman retaining the original idea without having the expanse of emptiness you currently have. Good job though in spotting a great photographic moment capturing.
